pappa roti, cabramatta

pappa roti is a bakery that only speciallises in one flavour of bun. they're known for their coffee buns and apparently its healthy too! this franchise is relatively new but supposedly they have stores worldwide from malaysia, singapore, korea, dubai etc.

coffee bun ($2.20):

didnt actually get a whole bun to myself but i did try a little bit.

it's quite hollow on the inside, and super soft and fluffy on the outside with a thin layer of crumble on top. it wasn't too sweet and felt healthier and lighter since it wasn't greasy.

oh and although they only serve one type of bun, they do have milkshakes and even ice cream. the iced coffee is stronger than the normal ones you'd get a vietnamese cafes, and they use ice cream instead of the normal condensed milk. but for not-so-often coffee drinkers, it can be quite overwhelming to simply drink the iced coffee like a normal drink.
