french toast

my exams aren't even over yet, but the 6 most important ones are over and i have japanese extension left with both the speaking and writing component but that isn't until wednesday, so i caught up on the latest episodes of rooftop prince! and rewatched the episode of family outing with nicole and tiffany! (nicole is so cute ! omgsh) well, i was watching this at 2am. (yes i know, i'm never going to get rid of these eyebags) and well, watching the excited sooro and nicole eat french toast made me want to eat it too, so in the morning... hohohoho
WELL WHADDYA KNOW! I MADE FRENCH TOAST THIS MORNING HAHAHAHAHHA.
this is only enough for 4 or 5 pieces of bread!

what you'll need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 4-5 pices of bread
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • few drops of vanilla extract
  • a pinch of sugar (optional)
  • a pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • fruits
  • butter

what to do:
1. first in a shallow bowl, mix the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar and cinnamon together.
2. Dunk a peice of bread in the bowl and let it soak up the egg and milk mixture until its covered well.
3. On a hot nonstick pan put some butter in the middle and let it spread around (i had to use oil because SOMEONE used up all the butter boohoo :'(
4. Place soaked bread onto pan :

5.when golden brown, turn it over and cook until that side is also golden brown! (it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes!)

6.when its done serve with fruits (like banana!) and syrup/honey. (i like it with strawberry jam ! LOL HAHAHAHAH)

hehehehe bye for now!

Hi there! My name is Anna. I'm nineteen, in my second year of uni (UNSW) and born in Sydney. This blog is about my gastronomic adventures in Australia and abroad. It all started when I got new camera (Samsung Ex1) and since then, I've been mainly taking photos of food. So, I decided to document everything on this blog.

I'm still learning to take nice pictures - my camera isn't exactly the greatest but it works.

Oh, and I think we should get this out of the way (just in case you decide to unfriend me) I'm not a fan of chocolate or coffee. (Yes you saw right).

Anyway, enough about me - thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!
