bacon and eggs toast cups

bacon and egg toast cups:

recipe: bacon and egg toast cups (egg in a basket?)
what you'll need:
  • 3 slices of bread
  • 1 of ham or 3 slices bacon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of shredded cheese
  • salt & pepper
  • butter
(MAKES 3)

anyway this is best eaten warm!

what to do:

1. preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius. if you like your eggs a little runnier, maybe 200 degrees. grease a muffin pan with a small coat of butter.
2. take your slices of bread and push them into the 3 greased muffin holes.
3. cook your bacon in another pan until partially cooked, if you are using ham, cut them into strips about 3-5cm in length before partially cooking them
4. crack each egg into each hole
5. shape your ham/bacon strips in each cup-to-be
6 place your tray into the oven and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes ( i had the fan on )
if you want a creamy runny yolk, you can seperate the egg white and egg yolk first and when you see the white beginning to set in the oven, drop egg yolk into cups and sprinkle with salt and pepper!

Happy Easter!

Hi there! My name is Anna. I'm nineteen, in my second year of uni (UNSW) and born in Sydney. This blog is about my gastronomic adventures in Australia and abroad. It all started when I got new camera (Samsung Ex1) and since then, I've been mainly taking photos of food. So, I decided to document everything on this blog.

I'm still learning to take nice pictures - my camera isn't exactly the greatest but it works.

Oh, and I think we should get this out of the way (just in case you decide to unfriend me) I'm not a fan of chocolate or coffee. (Yes you saw right).

Anyway, enough about me - thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!
